The Beijing customs centre FAQ

The Beijing Municipal Government English portal carries an FAQ answer dated 2026-03-24. The answer is signed Beijing Customs.

The answer says the General Administration of Customs (Beijing) International Travel Health Care Center offers physical examination services for foreign nationals. It says information on the examination items and fees can be found via the WeChat account "General Administration of Customs International Travel Health Care Center".

The answer also gives two telephone lines for the centre: 010-64274239, which offers English services, and 010-82403675, which offers basic English services. It says the working hours of the two hotlines are 8:00-11:30 and 13:00-16:00.

The Beijing health entrance examination guide

The Beijing Municipal Government English portal also carries a guide to the health entrance examination. The page carries the date 2022-12-16.

The guide has a section headed Fee-charging Standards. The section says that in the event of any differences, the actual charging standards of local health centres shall prevail.

The section also lists conditions under which the physical examination fee is exempted for some foreign nationals.

The Shanghai guide

The Shanghai Municipal Government English portal carries a guide to the health check, dated August 30, 2024. For a reexamination, the guide says the applicant must bring the original valid ID and the invoice for the health examination fee.

One hospital's printed prices

The hospital publishes two package leaflets as images. Neither leaflet carries a date, and the prices below are transcribed from the images.

The Basic Package leaflet prints the price 2,999 RMB. The Pre-Employment Package leaflet prints the price 1,699 RMB.
